Steamboat Springs The Steamboat Tennis Association is hosting a free tennis expo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Tennis Center at Steamboat Springs.
The expo will highlight summer tennis lessons, leagues and upcoming tournaments throughout Routt County, the region and the state. It also will allow people to see all the programs, youth programs and tennis fitness programs that are provided.
Many of the programs for adults, juniors and children have been successful, as shown by the performance of the Steamboat Springs High School boys and girls teams and various adults who compete at tournaments throughout the state and region.
The Tennis Association, a nonprofit organization, is one of the main funding sources for the high school teams and provides scholarships for junior players. For more information, visit www.10s.com.
