The Fairway Face-Off Golf Tournament is June 2

The Fairway Face-Off Golf Tournament, a benefit for the Steamboat Springs Youth Hockey Association, is June 2 at Catamount Ranch & Club. The format is a four-person scramble. A $175 a player fee includes golf, lunch and an awesome goodie bag. Check-in is at 11 a.m. with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. Awards and silent auction will follow the golf.

Dog club looking for new members

The Yampa Valley Canine Connection Dog Club is looking for new members. The nonprofit club offers activities for dogs and their humans, including Canine Good Citizen courses, agility and rally throughout the year. For more information, contact Susan at 879-3646.

Volunteers needed at Humble Ranch facility

Now is a great time to join the dedicated team of volunteers at Humble Ranch Education and Therapy Center as a side walker or horse leader for the Equine Therapy programs. The programs are scheduled June 16 through Aug. 21 for two to three hours a week. Volunteer training program times and dates are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 18 or 4 to 8 p.m. June 3. Sign-ups under way for North Routt Golf Classic

Registration is under way for the sixth annual North Routt Golf Classic, June 8 at the Steamboat Sheraton Golf Club. All proceeds benefit the North Routt Community Charter School. Space is limited, so sign up early. Preregistration costs $135 a golfer or $520 a foursome and includes cart, lunch and prizes. Rates increase beginning May 29.
