Steamboat Briefs for May 3

Mountain bus service altered on Whistler Road

A Mount Werner Water and Sanitation District construction project on Whistler Road has required a detour of Steamboat Springs Transit's bus service in the area.

While the construction is under way, buses will not turn onto Whistler Road to serve stops 207, 208, 209 and 210. Buses will instead continue up Walton Creek Road and continue to serve stops at Comfort Inn and Shadow Run. An additional stop has been added at the uphill edge of the Walton Creek Condominiums' parking lot. The construction project is scheduled for completion July 11.
