1:30 a.m. A juvenile situation was reported in Steamboat Springs.

7:52 a.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 27000 block of Brandon Circle.

8:24 a.m. A woman made an animal complaint at Steamboat Boulevard and Galley Road.

8:33 a.m. A man reported a vehicle accident at mile marker 127 of U.S. Highway 40.

8:58 a.m. A vehicle complaint was made on Main Street in Yampa.

9:20 a.m. An animal complaint was made on Moffat Avenue in Yampa.

9:47 a.m. A man reported vandalism in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

11:01 a.m. A woman made a vehicle complaint in the 400 block of Ore House Plaza.

11:25 a.m. A man made a vehicle complaint in the Lower Knoll parking lot.

11:40 a.m. A woman made a vehicle complaint on a bike path near U.S. Highway 40 east of downtown.

1:07 p.m. A woman made an animal complaint on Steamboat Boulevard.

1:19 p.m. An anonymous vehicle complaint was made on Manitou Avenue.

1:28 p.m. Steamboat Springs police arrested a 22-year-old Steamboat Springs man for an outstanding warrant related to a failure to appear on a moving traffic violation.

1:45 p.m. Harassment was reported in Steamboat.

2:23 p.m. A woman made an animal complaint at Aspen and Seventh streets.

2:35 p.m. Theft was reported in the 2200 block of Elk River Road.

4:24 p.m. Police arrested a 20-year-old Steamboat man on charges of driving under a restricted license and possessing alcohol as a minor, during a vehicle accident on Hilltop Parkway.

4:35 p.m. A man made a vehicle complaint on the 2600 block of Copper Ridge Circle.

5:55 p.m. A juvenile situation was reported in Steamboat Springs.

8:32 p.m. A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported at Seventh and Oak streets.

8:44 p.m. Special investigations were conducted in the 800 block of Weiss Circle.

9:06 p.m. A woman reported a suspicious incident in Oak Creek. A Sheriff's Office deputy said the incident was unfounded. A resident saw lights at a neighbor's house and thought someone was breaking into the house, but the lights turned out to be Christmas lights left on at the residence.

10:56 p.m. A chase in progress was reported on Colorado Highway 131 outside of Routt County. A Sheriff's Office deputy said Colorado State Patrol troopers were in a pursuit from Eagle County, but the suspects were never found and the pursuit was terminated.

11:09 p.m. A juvenile situation was reported in Steamboat.

What happened to the man accused of rape that the paper said "The man, 32, was arrested and booked into Routt County Jail early Thursday morning on suspicion of third-degree sexual assault"?

Don't cha know them sexual violaters need protection.....

The victim needs protection. Since most victims are related to their abuser, it is best not to print his name. That way it spares the victim.
