12:29 a.m. The smell of gas was reported near a condo unit in the 2700 block of Eagle Ridge Drive. Fire officials responded and didn't smell anything.

1:33 a.m. A warning was issued after a noise complaint was made in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza.

1:46 a.m. A 22-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested after a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 40 and Old Fish Creek Falls Road. He was charged with driving under the influence, vehicular eluding and possession of an illegal weapon.

4:27 a.m. A suspicious person was reported in the 300 block of Pine Street. Police issued a minor-in-possession citation.

6:33 a.m. The theft of a flat-screen TV and a DVD player was reported in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. Police took a report.

7:44 a.m. A vehicle slid off the road east of Hayden near the airport. A 32-year-old pregnant woman was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center as a precaution.

9:07 a.m. Police responded to a civil complaint in the 800 block of Yampa Street and answered a question regarding a child custody issue.

9:41 a.m. A horse fell into a ditch on Page Lane. Authorities helped the animal up.

10:20 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident occurred in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.

10:42 a.m. A dog was reported at large in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.

10:48 a.m. A person reported losing a lunchbox containing a digital camera in the Emerald Mountain area. Police took a report.

11:12 a.m. A cow elk fell into a ditch near mile marker 140 on U.S. 40. The animal was turned over to the Division of Wildlife.

2:22 p.m. Furniture was dumped in a no-dumping zone near mile marker 1 on Routt County Road 27 in Oak Creek. Authorities took a report.

4:51 p.m. A child lit a roll of toilet paper on fire in the 40000 block of Lindsay Drive. The fire was out when authorities arrived, and the residents ventilated the apartment.

8:51 p.m. A motion alarm was set off in the 28000 block of Skyline Drive. The building was secured.

10:50 p.m. A burglary alarm went off in the 35000 block of Humble Road. The back door was open, but there were aggressive dogs inside the building. The owner was notified.
