Steamboat Springs Monday, March 10
1:19 a.m. A pair of snowmobilers lost on Buffalo Pass near Summit Lake requested the assistance of Routt County Search and Rescue. Search and Rescue personnel recovered the pair around 5 a.m. The man and woman were fine.
1:22 a.m. A noise complaint was received from the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue, where loud music was playing. Everything was quiet when police arrived.
9:02 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Walton Creek Road and Lincoln Avenue. Police issued a citation.
11:48 a.m. A Steamboat Springs woman was arrested on suspicion of driving with a revoked license and speeding during a traffic stop at Third and Oak streets.
12:31 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at U.S. Highway 40 and Walton Creek Road. Police took a report.
2:33 p.m. A wallet and passport found in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive were turned in to the Steamboat Springs Police Department.
2:48 p.m. The Steamboat Springs Police Department received a report of a possible sexual assault in Steamboat Springs in 2004. Police are investigating.
4:17 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from the 1800 block of Central Park Drive, where a parked car was blocking traffic. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
5:34 p.m. A drunken driver was reported heading westbound on U.S. 40 near Anglers Drive. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
6:05 p.m. A Yampa man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for driving with no proof of insurance in Oak Creek.
6:47 p.m. Theft of a cell phone was reported in Yampa. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.
6:49 p.m. A Steamboat Springs woman was arrested on suspicion of driving with a revoked license during a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.
8 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies performed a welfare check on an elderly couple in Yampa. Everything was fine.
9:10 p.m. An ambulance was requested in Phippsburg, where a 91-year-old woman was experiencing chest pain. The woman was transported to the hospital.
11:09 p.m. An Oak Creek woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence near mile marker 109 on U.S. 40.
