Success Steps luncheon this week

A Success Steps luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Smokehouse Restaurant, 912 Lincoln Ave. This month's program is titled "Worker's Compensation, a Comprehensive Look at Laws, Rates and Risk." Topics include compensable injury, how rates are determined for various industries and companies, expense modification, what factors are considered when evaluating a business risk and whether worker's compensation costs can be influenced through safety strategies. Christine Holzer of Pinnacol Assurance in Denver will lead the program, which costs $15 and includes a buffet lunch.

Staff changes at marketing firm

Adventures in Advertising/Promotional Programs Inc., a promotional marketing company headquartered in Steamboat Springs, announced Thursday that it has promoted two employees at its local office. Ea Moulton has been promoted to project manager and Kate Herzog has been promoted to production coordinator.

Tri-State offers new compact tractor models

The first three models in the new Bobcat compact tractor line now will be available through the Tri-State Equipment Co. in Craig. The models are the Bobcat CT120, CT225 and CT230.

The compact tractors are designed to help farmers, ranchers and others with a variety of tasks. They can be used with Bobcat implements such as an angle blade, box blade, finish mower, post-hole digger, seeder and tine rake, as well as a front-end loader and attachments.
