Local schools announce Parent Academy event
The Steamboat Springs School District hosts a Parent Academy event, focused on underage drug and alcohol use and abuse, March 18 at Steamboat Springs High School. A free dinner begins at 5 p.m., followed by a discussion with John Underwood of the American Athletic Institute from 6 to 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Great event! but it is probably too bad that the parents and kids that should attend this and really need to hear this stuff won't be there to hear it, too busy being in denial... or out partying.
