Friday, Feb. 29

12:46 a.m. A Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence during a traffic stop at Lincoln Avenue and Dream Island Plaza.

2:06 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2700 block of Eagleridge Drive. Police said everything was fine.

2:48 a.m. A gas leak was reported in the 1200 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The gas was shut off.

3:13 a.m. A noise complaint was received from the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. Steamboat Springs police gave a warning.

4:55 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 2100 block of Mount Werner Road. Everything was fine.

6:53 a.m. Vandalism was reported on Walton Creek Road, where glass had been broken at a Steamboat Springs Transit bus shelter. Police took a report.

7:28 a.m. A wallet found in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza was turned in to the Steamboat Springs Police Department.

7:50 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Police issued a citation.

7:52 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at U.S. Highway 40 and Pine Grove Road. Police took a report.

8:39 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at U.S. 40 and Pine Grove Road. A Denver man driving one of the vehicles was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

9:16 a.m. A reckless driver was reported in the 100 block of East Jefferson Avenue in Hayden. Police gave a warning.

10:44 a.m. A stray cat was reported in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The animal was picked up and taken to the shelter.

11:27 a.m. A lost cell phone was reported in the 400 block of Anglers Drive. Police took a report.

11:58 a.m. An animal complaint was received from Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue, where two dogs were running in traffic. The owner caught the dogs before police arrived.

12:52 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 1800 block of Shield Drive, where empty toolboxes had been left on private property. Police took a report.

2:19 p.m. A holdup alarm went off in the 2100 block of Resort Drive. Everything was fine.

2:59 p.m. A suspicious package was reported at a store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The package belonged to an employee, and everything was fine.

4:26 p.m. Road rage was reported at U.S. 40 and Walton Creek Road. Police mediated the dispute.

5:13 p.m. An Oak Creek woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 100 block of Nancy Crawford Boulevard.

5:41 p.m. An Oak Creek man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence during a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Main Street in Oak Creek.

7:30 p.m. A missing persons report was filed in Steamboat Springs, where an adult woman could not be located.

7:56 p.m. A Hayden woman was arrested on a contempt of court warrant in the 200 block of South Second Street in Hayden.

7:59 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 24700 block of Lone Tooth Trail near Oak Creek. Everything was fine.

9:03 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. Everything was fine.

11:11 p.m. Police were asked to check on a man in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Court. The man reportedly left a residence after a disagreement with a friend. The man later returned to home on his own. Everything was fine.

11:42 p.m. A California man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and speeding during a traffic stop in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

Maybe they are on the rise & coming out of the woodworks again,since OC got a DUI the other night. I wonder why he did not get child abuse charges against him,since he had a minor with him.Maybe it was just not printed.

if Oak Creek is so full of crime and thugs and the police are doing such a good job why is this page not packed full ?

yes it is I believe it is off of RCR 25 about 1/4 mile past Wyscups on the right

Old: maybe he had dropped the child off before the stop,but he had a minor with him a few minutes before the stop. Lone Tooth is off of cnty rd 27 up on oil well.
