3:12 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 24100 block of West U.S. 40. Everything was fine.
5:03 a.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
7:57 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at U.S. 40 and Colorado Highway 131.
9:51 a.m. Illegal dumping was reported on U.S. 40 in Steamboat II, where a truck was driving with an uncovered load. The vehicle was gone when Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived.
10:25 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Steamboat Boulevard and Heavenly View. Police took a report.
11:07 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 400 block of West Jefferson Avenue in Hayden. Everything was fine.
11:52 a.m. A possible gas leak was reported in the 400 block of Willow Bend in Oak Creek. Everything was fine.
12:12 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury
accident was reported at Routt County Road 44 and U.S. 40. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.
12:34 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury
accident was reported at U.S. 40 and Mount Werner Road. Police took a report.
1:03 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 36800 block of Tree Haus Drive. Everything was fine.
1:54 p.m. A Dumpster fire was reported in the 800 block of Critter Court. The fire was extinguished quickly.
2:05 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1900 block of Cornice Road. Everything was fine.
9:04 p.m. A noise complaint was received from Oak and Fourth streets. Police gave a warning.
9:38 p.m. The sound of shots fired was reported in the 35900 block of Agate Creek Road. Sheriff's Office deputies were unable to locate the source of the shots
or anything amiss.
9:41 p.m. A mountain biker reported he had been lost for several hours in the Sarvis Creek Wilderness Area. Search and rescue crews located him Friday morning. He was not injured.
9:41 p.m. A dog at large was reported in the 200 block of Howelsen Parkway. Police were unable to locate the animal.
9:55 p.m. A noise complaint was received from Whistler Road and Mustang Run. Everything was quiet when police arrived.
10:30 p.m. The smell of gas was reported in the 100 block of North Poplar Street in Hayden. No leak could be located.
10:55 p.m. A noise complaint was received on Latigo Lane. Everything was quiet when police arrived.
11:10 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 33400 block of Catamount Drive. Everything was fine.
11:56 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs, where a man entered a residence with a handgun and engaged in a physical altercation with two other people. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of a cut on his forehead, and he was arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary, menacing, third-degree assault, harassment and prohibited use of a weapon.
