12:22 a.m. A disturbance was reported in Hayden, where a mother and her adult son were fighting. The son was transported to the hospital with a possible broken arm.
1:18 a.m. A one-vehicle accident was reported near mile marker 150 on U.S. Highway 40, where a vehicle transporting nine prisoners to Hot Sulphur Springs struck a deer. The vehicle was leaking fluid, and the prisoners were held temporarily at the Routt County Jail until the vehicle could be repaired.
1:34 a.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs, where a man was seen punching a woman on an exterior deck. The man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault. There were no injuries requiring treatment.
2:38 a.m. An intoxicated pedestrian was reported in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man was helped to his hotel room.
9:56 a.m. Harassing phone calls were reported in Steamboat Springs. A man was arrested on suspicion of harassment.
10:10 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police took a report.
10:48 a.m. A suspicious incident was reported at Whistler and Walton Creek roads, where a man was hitchhiking in a construction zone, causing a possible traffic hazard.
11:20 a.m. Trespassing was reported on Jupiter Place. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.
12:14 p.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs, where a 21-year-old man was vomiting and experiencing numbness in his hands and face. The man was transported to the hospital.
12:30 p.m. A dog at large was reported in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police gave a warning.
12:36 p.m. A dog at large was reported in the 700 block of Marketplace Plaza. The animal was gone when police arrived.
12:52 p.m. A possible structure fire was reported in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue, where there was a strong smell of smoke. The problem was determined to be electrical; there was no fire.
1:05 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Nancy Crawford Boulevard in Oak Creek.
1:32 p.m. A sex offender registered at the Steamboat Springs Police Department.
1:53 p.m. Theft was reported in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue, where a CD case was stolen from a vehicle. Police took a report.
2:13 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 26200 block of Henderson Park Road near Stagecoach. Everything was fine.
3:18 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. Everything was fine.
3:32 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. Everything was fine.
4:12 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 36800 block of Tree Haus Drive. Everything was fine.
5:29 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 110 on U.S. Highway 40.
7:37 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1800 block of Medicine Springs Drive. Everything was fine.
9:08 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 700 block of Yampa Street. Everything was quiet when police arrived.
9:25 p.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported on Anglers Drive, where a car struck a deer. The animal had two broken legs and had to be put down.
9:58 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. Everything was quiet when police arrived.
11:20 p.m. A disturbance was reported in the 1300 block of Athens Plaza, where a group of friends were fighting. Police gave a warning.
11:35 p.m. A burglary was reported in the 100 block of East Main Street in Oak Creek, where a group of juveniles were found inside a closed restaurant. The teenagers ran off; it is unclear whether anything was taken.
11:55 p.m. A drunken driver was reported heading east on U.S. 40 in Steamboat Springs. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
