Wells Fargo bank announces two hires

Wells Fargo has hired Jeffrey Minotto and Kristine Heiner, the bank announced in a news release.

Minotto started his banking career at Commerce Bank in Philadelphia in 1995 and has been working in the banking industry in Steamboat Springs for four years. He will be a senior business banking relationship manager at the downtown Steamboat branch, according to the release. Heiner has been working in banking since 1976 and in Colorado since 1996. She is joining the Wells Fargo Winter Park team as a business assistant.

Trappeur's Crossing receives high marks

Expedia travelers ranked ResortQuest Steamboat's Trappeur's Crossing Resort among the world's best hotels on this year's Expedia Insiders' Select list, according to a news release. The list recognizes hotels for good service, experience and value, the release stated. The list includes about 1 percent of the nearly 80,000 hotel properties offered on Expedia.

Trappeur's Crossing received a rating of 85.93 out of 100 and 3 1/2 of five stars on the site. It was one of three Colorado hotels to make the list, at No. 754 of 898 hotels. Hotel Monaco Denver and Beaver Creek Lodge in the Vail area ranked higher.

SCORE seminar focuses on customer satisfaction

This week's Success Steps lunch is titled "Customer Satisfaction: Six Steps to Greater Customer Retention." The lunch is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Steamboat Smokehouse, 912 Lincoln Ave. It costs $15.
