12:41 a.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in Ski Time Square.
12:43 a.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. A ticket was issued.
1:59 a.m. A traffic stop was made in the 2600 block of South Copper Frontage. A person was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol.
2:01 a.m. A fight was reported at a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine on the arrival of police, and the situation was cleared with a warning.
2:33 a.m. A suspicious person was reported at Seventh and Oak streets. A report was taken, and the person was taken to detox.
3:09 a.m. A person complained about fireworks in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage. The noise was gone on the arrival of police.
6:17 a.m. A car accident was reported at mile marker 102 on U.S. 40.
9:48 a.m. Theft of laundry was reported in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. A report was taken.
10:07 a.m. Vandalism of light poles and a shuttle bus was reported in the 2800 block of Eagle Ridge Drive. A report was taken.
10:34 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the 1500 block of Cascade Drive.
1:05 p.m. Theft of a bike rack was reported in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane. A report was taken.
1:13 p.m. A hit-and-run car accident was reported in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. A report was taken.
1:38 p.m. Theft was reported in the 800 block of Yahmonite Street.
1:47 p.m. A lost wallet was reported in the 800 block of Yampa Street. A report was taken.
1:59 p.m. A person complained about an animal in the 1300 block of Robert E. Lee Lane.
2:23 p.m. A suicide attempt was reported in Steamboat Springs.
3:28 p.m. A person complained about an animal in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.
4:04 p.m. A lost cell phone was turned in at the Steamboat Springs Police Department. The phone was returned to its owner.
4:51 p.m. The Routt County Sheriff's Office assisted a motorist at Shield Drive and U.S. 40.
5:51 p.m. An arrest was made in the 300 block of River Road.
6:24 p.m. Steamboat Springs police assisted with an ambulance request in Steamboat Springs.
7:35 p.m. A person complained about a barking dog in the 1200 block of Buckskin Drive. The dog's owner was given a verbal warning.
7:53 p.m. A car accident was reported near mile marker 139 on U.S. 40.
8:50 p.m. The Routt County Sheriff's Office assisted a motorist near mile marker 100 on U.S. 40.
8:58 p.m. A person complained about fireworks at Village and Bear drives.
8:59 p.m. A traffic stop was made near mile marker 101 on U.S. 40. An arrest was made.
9:33 p.m. A person complained of noise in the 27400 block of Brandon Circle. A warning was issued.
9:38 p.m. A person complained of noise near Cypress Court. A warning was issued.
10:07 p.m. A person complained of noise in the 40500 block of Steamboat Drive.
10:10 p.m. A person complained about a dog at Spar and Agate streets. The dog's owner was warned. A report was taken.
10:34 p.m. A juvenile situation was reported in Steamboat Springs. A report was taken.
11:33 p.m. A traffic stop was made in Steamboat Springs. A report was taken, and a ticket was issued.
11:37 p.m. A person complained of loud music in the 1100 block of Saratoga Avenue. A warning was given and a report was taken.
11:37 p.m. A person complained about a barking dog in the 1900 block of Steamboat Boulevard.
11:50 p.m. A person complained of fireworks near Seventh Street. Police were unable to locate the fireworks.

Well I'm back from my day of fishing on the lake. I see that we had a busy day of reports in The Record, and was busy for the police no doubt. They were stressed with a high level of calls, and this is problematic for sure. To start, a disturbing amount of noise complaints and firework calls were reported. Must have something to do with graduation season, but still this needs to cease. Also, the barking dog reports were very high on this day and night. Nothing more annoying than loud dogs yapping when you are trying to sleep. In other news a poor drunken pedestrian was called in twice in 2 minutes at 12:41 am and 12:43 am, he either was really causing a scene or just had very bad luck, or his friends were playing a prank on him. In the news of the bizarre, a bike rack was stolen, I never heard that one before, shows the desperation of our criminals. Also, laundry was stolen, must have been some fine clothes in that washer or dryer, to have been stolen. I know the economy is in bad shape, but please buy your own clothes and get your own bike rack if it warrants. Nothing like a fight at a bar, or a 'suspicious' person, that should round out a weekend day and night report for The Record! I guess if you are drunk on a Saturday night, it is suspicious! Fights are a continued problem among our rowdy youth in bars and clubs. This is upsetting our peaceful residents, and stressing out our police force, give them a break, please.

Looks like Bounty will be busy after this day, many criminals are on the loose, and will have warrants for their arrest. We need the streets to be cleaned, too bad Bounty can't get some of these loud dogs off the streets running loose!

I just said I'd been reading the posts from you two and all the others and find the whole thing very funny. The interaction between the two sides is much more comical than the commentary about the record.

I just want to know who the wiener was to called the cops on the supervised Senior Graduation party in SBII? The party was over by 11pm on a Saturday night and to be quite honest, the choices in music rocked...... How cheesey...it was a graduation party for a group of neat young adults. Geez......

Glad to hear that granny! If kids cant celebrate such milestone event in thier parents homes, we all know they would celebrate elsewhere. We were laughing and saying how nice it was that the neighborhood was the place to choose! Called a community......... we welcomed it. (now in all honesty, if it had gone on till 4 in the morning.... we might have had to discuss it. But they were polite and respectful!!!!)

The fruitloops are some of the posters on here like Boat, Wannabe, Granny, and Wstmb or whatever his clown name is. Sounds like they need to be put in the slammer! Rockie is boisterous, but he doesn't take shots at others unless provoked.

I think someone was being a little overzealous calling the cops on the graduation party on Steamboat Drive. From the ballons and decorations I think everyone in the neighborhood knew it was happening long before it started. In addition, it really wasn't that loud.
My wife and I live with our 3 year old son 3 doors down the street. We went to bed at 9:30 with all the windows open. I turned on a little 6 inch fan in our bedroom for some background noise and couldn't hear a thing even with the windows open.

Police are called way too much, I agree. When people sneeze, sometimes the police have been called for excessive noise. Once more I am not Rockie, and it is hilarious to think just because one uses words of another that could be Rockie. Brent come to your senses, and stop listening to these wannabes. So Rockie has a new name to add to his alter egos. First he is "Rockie" the tough guy, Then he signs up with the scary "bountyhunter, and now he goes again with the fighter "Kimbo".
Clearly Rockie "DORKIE" has a fantasy about actually being someone "tough".
Every time Rockie needs a little boost he signs up with a new name and compliments himself.
Rockie, your claim of me having different log in names does not hold water. The names you accuse me of have been on the board for quite some time with varying opinions. Your fake names have just signed up and have the same immature writing style you have, which clearly gives you away.

bounty, do you honestly think there is just one other person on here with all these names pestering you. I've been in Denver since Sunday evening and this is the first time been online since Sunday afternoon. I almost couldn't wait to get back to see what you guys were up to during my absence.
I could even send you a reciept from the gas station at Downieville if you want me to prove it. I'm a relative short timer here. I've only been on the site a couple months. I really don't know anything about boatmaster. Never even read his posts until you accused me of being him.
Anyway, I'm going to tell you the same thing these other folks have said. If you'll look at everything I've written you'll notice it's hardly similar to what boatmaster writes. In fact I only see a couple of times where we both posted comments under the same article. I'd say our interests are quite different until it came to pestering you and Rockie.
I have to say after being in the big city for a couple days, I really enjoy everything about Steamboat and best of all, right now I really enjoy pestering you. Have a wonderful evening :O)

This has really gone down hill fast. I used to love getting on here & reading/chatting about the daily grind. But this bickering has gotten so STUPID that anymore I might read it once day.

justathought--I can see it too. Have felt that way since the first couple of posts, even before the other juveniles jumped in. This is NOT an adult. May not even be in high school. It's okay though. Sounds like my kids when they were bickering with each other when they were small. Just before I paddled their bottoms.

yep u guys are right..check out rockies post on steamboat cheap..doesnt have a clue but be glad to sell him/her one for the small price of 5 dollars..just look at times of posting minutes apart that speaks for its self(other posts)..all take care..gotta daughter graduating from middle school tonite..next is high school..yikes let the games begin..take care all
