Applications for designation on the Routt County Register of Historic Properties are due to the Routt County Board of Commissioners' office in the Routt County Courthouse by Aug. 22. Volunteers needed for library move

Bud Werner Memorial Library staff members are seeking volunteer to help move 80,000 items into the expanded library, during five-hour shifts Aug. 16, 17 and 18. Stop by the front desk of the library on 13th Street to sign up, or call 879-0240, ext. 1. Volunteer hours can contribute toward community service requirements.

Lisa Tridle graduates from Loyola University

Lisa Tridle of Steamboat Springs graduated in May with a bachelor's degree from Loyola University New Orlean's College of Music and Fine Arts. Tridle also was named to the school's dean's list for the 2008 spring semester. Tridle finished the semester with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Andrew M. Hoing named to dean's list at Trinity

Andrew M. Hoing of Steamboat Springs was named to the dean's list for the 2008 spring semester at Trinity University. The dean's list honors Trinity students who maintain a grade point average of 3.65 or better while enrolled in a minimum of 15 semester hours.

Aindrui Colgan earns diploma from Dartmouth

Aindrui Colgan of Steamboat Springs graduated cum laude this spring from Dartmouth College. Colgan, the son of Sean and Deborah Colgan of Steamboat Springs, majored in classical languages and economics. He was one of more than 1,000 students to take part in the school's spring 2008 commencement exercises.
