12:10 a.m. A noise complaint was received in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. Police gave a warning.

12:24 a.m. A possible drunken driver was reported on Routt County Road 33 near the James Brown Soul Center of the Universe Bridge. Police arrested a Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana and reckless driving.

1:59 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road. Everything was fine.

7:38 a.m. A dog at large was reported in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The animal was gone when police arrived.

8:16 a.m. A one-vehicle, rollover accident was reported near mile marker 3 on C.R. 27. A 29-year-old Oak Creek man, who was distracted because he was eating a doughnut, drove off the side of the road, rolling his vehicle at least three times, according to the Colorado State Patrol. He was transported to the hospital via ambulance with minor injuries, and cited for careless driving.

9 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road. Everything was fine.

9:16 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the 1600 block of Kinnikinnick Lane. Police took a report.

10:20 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 400 block of West Jefferson Avenue in Hayden. Everything was fine.

10:28 a.m. A dog at large was reported near mile marker 7 on C.R. 14.

11:07 a.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near mile marker 16 on C.R. 33, where a woman drove off the side of the road while reaching for a water bottle.

11:14 a.m. A barking dog complaint was received from Snowbird Trail in Stagecoach.

2:51 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 36800 block of Tree Haus Drive. Everything was fine.

3:11 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Lincoln Avenue and Mount Werner Road. Police issued a citation.

5:38 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 36300 block of Trail Ridge Road. Everything was fine.

5:44 p.m. A sex offender registered at the Oak Creek Police Department.

6:07 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 2100 block of Indian Summer Drive. Everything was fine.

6:16 p.m. A $98 gas skip was reported in the 35700 block of East U.S. 40. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.

7:08 p.m. A domestic dispute was reported in Steamboat Springs. A Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment.

7:56 p.m. Police assisted a motorist at Fifth Street and West Jefferson Avenue in Hayden.

9:11 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported near mile marker 22 on C.R. 129, near Clark, where a driver struck and killed a cow on the road and left the scene. Beer cans were found near the cow's body when Sheriff's Office deputies arrived.

10:58 p.m. A burglary was reported in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating.

11:06 p.m. A noise complaint was received from South Walnut Street in Hayden. Police gave a warning.

The cow obviously cannot submit to a BAC test, so, does it still lose it's ear tag for a year?
