Steamboat Springs — VNA offering help for quitting tobacco
The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering free nicotine patches and gum for four weeks by calling the QuitLine at 1-800-QUITNOW, or 784-8669. Pick up a free Tobacco-Free Quit Kit at the Steamboat VNA office at 940 Central Park Drive, Suite 101, or in Craig at 745 Russell St.
Nathrop resident wins $500 shopping spree
Denise Scifres of Nathrop is the winner of a $500 shopping spree from ExploreSteamboat.com. Scifres, who spends summers in the Clark area, was chosen randomly from more than 560 people who registered for the contest. Scifres can spend her $500 at any of the businesses with enhanced listing on ExploreSteamboat.com.
