12:16 a.m. A Delta man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
12:31 a.m. A dog bite complaint was received from the 2600 block of Medicine Springs Road. Police took a report.
4:14 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 123 on U.S. Highway 40.
4:26 a.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist at Routt County Road 27 and U.S. Highway 40.
6:09 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 600 block of Forest View. Everything was fine.
9:36 a.m. An animal complaint was received from Colorado Highway 131 near Black Diamond Ranch, where a dog was running in traffic.
9:54 a.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 25600 block of Routt Street in Phippsburg, where bones were found in a sinkhole. The remains turned out to be those of a cow and horse.
11:34 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Elk River Road and Lincoln Avenue. Police issued a citation.
11:44 a.m. Theft of a wallet was reported in the 44200 block of Routt County Road 36. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.
1:26 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 3000 block of Trails Edge. Everything was fine.
2:16 p.m. A one-vehicle rollover accident was reported south of Toponas on Colo. 131, where a woman was ejected from her car. She was transported via ambulance to Yampa Valley Medical Center with serious injuries, and was listed in fair condition Tuesday.
2:58 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1300 block of Pine Grove Circle. Police took a report.
3:46 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Ninth Street.
3:52 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from mile marker 59 on Colo. 131, where a speeding construction vehicle kicked up rocks, shattering another car's window.
4:20 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported near mile marker 20 on C.R. 27.
5:42 p.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 26000 block of Routt Street in Phippsburg. There were no injuries. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.
6:01 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from the 27600 block of Hurd View Lane in Clark, where construction trucks were speeding. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.
6:59 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police took a report.
7:10 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported near mile marker 23 on C.R. 27.
8:07 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 100 block of South Spruce Street in Hayden.
9:18 p.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near mile marker 10 on C.R. 14, where a deer ran into the side of a car. There was no damage to the vehicle, but the driver was concerned the deer was injured. Sheriff's Office deputies were unable to locate the animal.
9:19 p.m. A Steamboat Springs woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 41500 block of Riverbend Trail.
9:27 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 143 on U.S. 40, near the west summit of Rabbit Ears Pass.
11:16 p.m. A Steamboat Springs man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

How does a sinkhole open up in Phippsburg, a cow and horse fall in and die, then spend months decaying 'til there's nothing left but bones and nobody notices until now?
