1:05 a.m. An extra patrol was requested in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue to resolve an issue at a nearby bar.
2:57 a.m. A suspicious person was reported at Howelsen Hill. The reporting party said the person was on top of a camper and wouldn't get down. The person was gone when officers arrived.
3:14 a.m. An officer was requested at Howelsen Hill. A person was laying in the middle of the road. A report was taken.
3:25 a.m. A noise complaint was reported in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. There was a large group of people near a hot tub drinking and being belligerent. A warning was issued.
5:15 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle when a car ran into the valve of a sprinkler system.
7:30 a.m. An animal complaint was reported at the Dream Island bus stop. Animal control responded to take care of a dead cat.
9:27 a.m. An officer was requested in the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue when a bus passenger would not wake up.
9:36 a.m. A cell phone was found in the 2400 block of Pine Grove Road.
11:42 a.m. Harassment was reported in Steamboat Springs.
1:21 p.m. A disturbance was reported in the 2700 block of Longthong Road.
1:21 p.m. An ambulance was requested when a woman in a silver Buick reported having chest pains. She was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
2:18 p.m. An officer was requested on U.S. Highway 40. The reporting person said they had been rammed three times by a white truck with a trailer. Officers determined the truck was having brake problems.
2:26 p.m. An animal complaint was reported in Steamboat Springs. A dog was left in a car for 45 minutes with the windows barely cracked. The car was gone when officers responded.
5:33 p.m. Property was found in Central Park Plaza and officers were unable to locate the owner.
6:19 p.m. An officer was requested in Lil' Toots Park. A man was being pulled from the Yampa River but he refused help.
6:43 p.m. A noise complaint was reported in Brooklyn Park. The reporting party said there was a group of people passing around a bottle of whiskey and screaming profanities. Officers were unable to locate the group.
7:02 p.m. A traffic stop was made at mile marker 142 on U.S. 40.
7:21 p.m. An officer was requested in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue when a customer refused to pay for food.
7:29 p.m. An animal complaint was reported in the 500 block of Wyatt Way. A dog attacked another dog. The dogs were fine.
7:35 p.m. Theft was reported at Howelsen Hill. A person was pick pocketed and a wallet was stolen.
9:05 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported in Clark when an explosion rattled windows. Further information was not available.
9:23 p.m. An animal complaint was reported in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A white dog was found. The owner was contacted.
9:29 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported on Routt County Road 33. A car hit a cow. The cow was alive, and there were fluids leaking from the car. The car was towed, and the owner of the cow was contacted.
10:53 p.m. A traffic stop was made on Lincoln Avenue. A ticket was issued.
11:49 p.m. A noise complaint was reported in the 1300 block of Mark Twain Lane. A large party was shooting fireworks. A warning was given.
