9:40 a.m. A dog at large was reported in the 300 block of Blue Sage Circle.

9:46 a.m. Police assisted a motorist on Howelsen Parkway.

10:13 a.m. A vehicle complaint was received from the 1300 block of Athens Plaza, where a pickup drove up on the grass to unload a couch. The property manager was concerned about possible damage to the sprinkler system. The sprinklers were fine, and police mediated the dispute.

10:12 a.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:31 p.m. A bear was reported in the 59200 block of Button Willow Drive. The Colorado Division of Wildlife was notified.

3:53 p.m. A drunken driver was reported heading north on Colorado Highway 131 near mile marker 67, just south of U.S. 40.

5:44 p.m. A parking complaint was received from Amethyst Drive, where a car parked at the Spring Creek trailhead was jutting out into the road. Police issued a citation.

6:37 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.

6:43 p.m. A small brushfire was reported at Howelsen Hill. The fire was put out before Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue arrived on scene.

6:50 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported on Evans Street, where a large bonfire appeared at risk of getting out of control. The fire was put out, and police gave a warning about burning without a proper permit.
