2:40 a.m. A domestic dispute was reported in Steamboat Springs when a couple was arguing in an Alpine Taxi. The couple exited the taxi and could not be found when Steamboat Springs police officers arrived.

3:07 a.m. A trespass in progress was reported in Whistler Village, where several people were using a hot tub that did not belong to them. They were asked to leave.

6:50 a.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported near mile 14 on County Road 129 near Clark when a Subaru rolled over and landed on its top.

7:35 a.m. A loose dog was reported on U.S. Highway 40. The owners were located and the dog was returned to them.

8:36 a.m. A bear was reported in the 28000 block of County Road 209A.

9:19 a.m. A woman reported a suspicious person near the railroad tracks in the Chuck Lewis Wildlife Area.

9:50 a.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported one mile south of Yamcola Dam on Forest Road 900, where a Ford Explorer had rolled over. A man and a young boy sustained minor injuries and were transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

11:03 a.m. A reckless driver was reported near Stock Bridge Transit Center. He was arrested on a revoked license.

12:04 p.m. A domestic dispute was reported in Steamboat Springs.

1:49 p.m. A Routt County Sheriff's Office deputy was requested to do a welfare check on man with suicidal tendencies. Everything was fine.

1:57 p.m. A bear was reported in the 2500 block of Ski Trail Lane, but was gone when officers arrived.

2:47 p.m. A disturbance was reported at the Howelsen Hill fields, where parents at a sports game were becoming unruly. Officers responded.

3:10 p.m. A disturbance was reported at the Ski Town Park where parents at a sports game were becoming unruly. Officers responded.

6:53 p.m. A suspicious person was reported in a construction site in Steamboat Springs.

7 p.m. A domestic dispute was reported in Steamboat Springs. A couple got in a verbal argument.

7:37 p.m. Shots were reported in Anglers Drive. Officers were unable to locate the source of the noise.

7:59 p.m. A theft was reported in the 36000 block of Tree Haus Drive, where an umbrella was stolen off a deck.

9:22 p.m. A domestic dispute was reported in Steamboat Springs.

9:40 p.m. An ambulance was requested when a man became short of breath and dizzy. He was transported to the hospital.

11:55 p.m. A fight in progress was reported on Anglers Drive, where a young man reportedly was assaulted by four other young men. The investigation is ongoing.

People are stressed over economic issues, often this comes out in violence against the ones closest to you, not good but people need an outlet. Our police need as much training as they can get to recognize these situations and help people understand they are not alone or the only ones struggling. Misery does not love company, misery loves miserable company. Counseling can go a long way..........
