Old Town Hot Springs hosts members-only party
Steamboat Springs Old Town Hot Springs will be closed to the public from 4 to 7 p.m. today. The facility, on Lincoln Avenue near Third Street, is hosting a party for its members as a thank-you for patience during the recent construction, and to allow members to experience the $5 million in improvements. Water slide rides and admission to a spin class and yoga class will be free for members.
Winter Carnival buttons on sale for 95th event
The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club has begun button sales in preparation for the 95th annual Winter Carnival, from Feb. 6 to 10. The carnival includes a variety of exciting and fun-filled events that embrace our western heritage and highlight our tradition of winter sports.
The only cost to participate in or attend most of the events is $7 for an official Winter Carnival button. Buttons can be purchased at various locations throughout town and at the SSWSC offices. All proceeds from button sales support the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club and its athletes. For more information, call 879-0695, ext. 100.
