This agenda makes it look like it would be real easy to slip something by the residents (is that the intent?). Reports or items of concern from Board members is under "action items", does this mean they can take action on anything they want without informing the public in advance as to what they might take action on (even if it may concern them)? Cowarn agreement, and shouldn't the public know what this is about (just in case it may concern them)? If the governing body is going to make formal decisions on any item, shouldn't it be clear to the residents what those items are?

pretty difficult "to slip something by" in a public meeting.

Wow audience perticipation at the bottom! They really don't want to hear what the public thinks since their meetings don't get over until after 11. Most people get tired of listening to them talk in circles and have long gone, unless they are on the agenda and are force to sit and listen to them talk in circles and resolve nothing!

looks to me like work comes first... then the entertainment from the drunk monkeys as a grand finale. i would say that the board has their priorities exactly right where they should be. instead of stirring up crap in this forum, justabutt, maybe you should attend the meeting (if you have questions or something positive to contribute), sit down, shut up and be sure your hearing aid is cranked up so that you can get some learnin' on.

aristocrap, you don't know what they think, but you sure like to stir the pot talking your jibberish. personally, i know that you are an idiot (as well as a LIAR). it's not just something that i think.

You think you know me, but you have no clue. People that know me laugh at you because you are so far off base. Stick to the story that is being discussed and stop with the character assisinations. This country was formed on freedom of speech and along with that comes freedom of thought. You can not control what we think or comment on. Just because we do not agree with you and all that goes on at Town Hall, does not make us liars. Get a life!

muskno, maybe we should ask bluntman, based on his(her) reply to my honest questions, he(she) may possibly be a holdover board member from the last mayor's regime where questioning government action was not allowed. I reread my post and I see nothing attacking anyone, just questioning the way an agenda was posted.

bluntman, The board may very well have their priorities straight however, law says the people are to be informed IN ADVANCE as to what government business will be taking place. If OC wants people to place trust in their government again, adding a couple of more sentences to the agenda to inform the people of the business the board will be transacting is a good start for an open government. Your nasty reply and name calling over legitimate questions sounds like there really is something to hide.

You are on target justathought...Bluntman sounds so much like the negative Jim Eskridge who is still disgruntled losing a spot on the board. Gee, wonder why?? He complains, points, attacks and is so above all of us....without ever helping like a true good neighbor.

Watch out innovated. What you say may be true, but they will remove you for using a name associated with Town Hall / Town Board. Of course they will not remove you if you use the address of a 21 year old woman! Because Bluntman said it was so, I guess it is! I think it is dangerous to the young woman as well as detremental, since she had a clean UA, but what do know, I'm a Liar, have a crack pipe and need to be in a hospital.....NOT!
