Steamboat Springs 12:10 a.m. A woman reported an assault in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The case is under investigation.
12:21 a.m. A motorist whose car was off the road in a ditch was assisted at Hilltop Lane and Tamarack Drive.
1:03 a.m. A person complained about noise outside of bars in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
1:04 a.m. A disturbance was reported at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue. A police officer came upon a fight in the street. A man who was assaulted initially said he did not want to press charges but called later and said he broke his leg and wanted police to pursue the matter. The case is under investigation.
1:46 a.m. A traffic stop was made at Mount Werner Road and Steamboat Boulevard. A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
2 a.m. A car was reported stolen from an underground parking lot near the base of the Steamboat Ski Area. The car was recovered and returned to the owner.
2:24 a.m. A person complained about noise in the 500 block of Ore House Plaza. A warning was issued to people hosting a loud party.
5:34 a.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported on Burgess Creek Road. Alpine Taxi picked up the pedestrian.
7:14 a.m. A motorist was assisted in the 2000 block of Shield Drive.
8:16 a.m. An accident involving two vehicles was reported at Seventh Street and Yampa Avenue. No injuries were reported. No citations were issued.
8:20 a.m. A motorist was assisted on Routt County Road 14, south of C.R. 14B.
8:37 a.m. A person complained about an animal in the 3300 block of Meadow Lane. The animal was gone when officers arrived.
10:03 a.m. A car accident was reported near mile marker 112 of U.S. Highway 40.
10:40 a.m. Illegal dumping was reported in the 1800 block of Shield Drive. A police officer was unable to find anything.
11:47 a.m. Harassment was reported in the 27400 block of C.R. 21 in Yampa.
12:05 p.m. An accident involving two vehicles was reported in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. The two motorists involved decided to handle the matter without police involvement.
12:50 p.m. A car accident was reported at U.S. 40 and Colorado Highway 131.
1:16 p.m. An accident involving two vehicles was reported in the 900 block of Steamboat Boulevard. No injuries were reported. No citations were issued.
1:19 p.m. A vehicle was towed in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
2:43 p.m. An accident involving two vehicles was reported at U.S. 40 and Walton Creek Road. No injuries were reported. No citations were issued.
3:44 p.m. A car accident was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. There was no damage to the car involved, and no report was taken.
3:50 p.m. A warrant arrest was made on 11th Street.
9:53 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in Yampa.
10:26 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 1100 block of 13th Street. Someone reported seeing people looking in the windows of a business. Police contacted employees of the business.
11:27 p.m. A person complained of noise in the 1300 block of Athens Plaza. Police warned people who were playing loud music.

[A man who was assaulted initially said he did not want to press charges but called later and said he broke his leg and wanted police to pursue the matter]. Kind of makes me wonder when and how he broke his leg, you would think him or the officer would have noticed a broken leg at the scene.
