Still time to register for CMC spring classes

There still is time left to register for spring classes at Colorado Mountain College's Alpine Campus in Steamboat Springs. Many classes start the week of Jan. 14.

Students who have taken classes at CMC within the past 10 months can sign up by mail, phone or fax, or online at www.coloradomtn.edu. New students and those who have not taken classes within the past 10 months need to register in person.

To find out the hours of registration or for more information, call 1-800-621-8559 and ask for your local campus. Colorado Mountain College has learning sites in Aspen, Carbondale, Spring Valley, Glenwood Springs, Rifle, Steamboat Springs, Edwards, Dillon, Breckenridge, Leadville and Buena Vista.

For the best choice of classes, make sure to register early.

CNWCC courses return to South Routt

Registration for upcoming Colorado Northwest Community College classes in South Routt is from 7 a.m. to noon Monday at the Mug Shot on Main Street in Oak Creek, next to the Paradigm Theater; from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Oak Creek Public Library; from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 11 at Soroco High School during the boys and girls basketball games; and from 8 to 11 a.m. Jan. 12 at the Mug Shot. Classes in exercise, arts and crafts and medical health are all offered. Classes begin Jan. 14. Costs vary according to the class. Call Julie at 736-2324.
