Occupation: Public relations manager, Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp.

Place of birth: Denver

Q. When did you move to Routt County, and what brought you here?

A. I moved here in September to work with the greatest PR team in the ski industry.

Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken recently?

A. Uprooting my comfortable life in Durango to move to Steamboat, sight unseen, not knowing anyone. It was an adventure, and I love adventures.

Q. Describe your morning routine.

A. I sleep until the very last minute possible. I can be up and out of my house in 15 minutes flat. It helps that I shower at night.

Q. Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?

A. "Three Cups of Tea," the story about Greg Mortenson's efforts to build schools and educate girls in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It reminds me that just one person can make a difference. Because of that, I have always made a commitment to get involved in my own community and communities around the world.

Q. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

A. Never take life too seriously. You have to laugh at yourself, and I do every day.

Q. What three things would you want people to know about you?

A. 1) I'm always up for a new adventure. 2) I love to laugh and be surrounded by people who laugh. 3) I have the best job on the planet - I get to ski and talk about how great Steamboat is.

Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A. A ballerina.

Q. What was your first job?

A. Zamboni driver at the CU (University of Colorado at Boulder) ice arena.

Q. What is your favorite thing to do in Routt County?

A. Right now, explore everything!
