Laura Case: Pay it forward

Steamboat Springs The true meaning of Christmas is alive and well in Steamboat. Thank you very much to the man who helped put our Christmas tree on the roof of our little car. As a single mom, some things tend to be somewhat challenging, i.e. Christmas tree transportation. Wednesday evening at 5 p.m., my children selected the largest Christmas tree within our budget from City Market - it was a great value. However, it was very heavy, and I wasn't quite sure how to hoist it up to the roof.
Then comes some Christmas cheer. A man asked if I needed help. He also provided rope to tie the tree. I know I probably delayed him from being with his family by at least 20 minutes, but he would only accept my thanks. I don't know your name, but my children and I deeply appreciate your help Wednesday evening outside of City Market, and we will pay it forward. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thank you.
