Age: 49

Occupation: College Administration

Place of birth: Colorado Springs (raised in Eagle)

Q. When did you move to Routt County?

A. August 1990

Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken recently?

A. Letting my daughter go off to college when I know what goes on there.

Q. Describe your morning routine.

A. I really don't sleep, but when I do, coffee is a first essential, and it is my best time to spend with my family.

Q. Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?

A. "Miracle on the Mountain" about CMC - without it, I wouldn't have been able to return close to home to do what I do.

Q. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

A. Nobody cares what you know, unless they know that you care. Believing in others is often their first step in them believing in themselves.

Q. What three things would you want people to know about you?

A. I have a tendency to help others meet their needs first, I'm a family man, and I'm much too sensitive for a guy in my line of work.

Q. If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what would you talk about?

A. Mother Theresa, Gandhi, Bill Gates, and my mother - It's all about helping and serving others and having the resources to make a difference - plus, my mom is an incredible cook.

Q. What was your first job?

A. Selling nightcrawlers to stores in a 60-mile radius of Eagle (it paid for my first two years of college).

Q. Who is your favorite superhero? Why?

A. The Red Baron - he lives life to the fullest regardless of what others think, and he has lots and lots of fun.

Q. If you could go back in time, to what event or time period would you go?

A. I would love to experience my children's births and early years again and again with my incredible wife.
