Museum displaying exhibit of wildlife photographs

The Tracks and Trails Museum at 129 E. Main Street in Oak Creek is featuring Daniel Ellertson's wildlife photographs, on display on the Artist's Wall. This exciting exhibit is free and open to the public for two months. All are welcome. With questions, call 736-8245 from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Library to put teens' names into holiday prize drawing

Bud Werner Memorial Library is holding its annual "Sock It To Me" holiday stocking drawing for teens in sixth grade and up. Win a stocking full of books, movies and more. There are two stockings to choose from: fantasy and drama. During December, teens will receive a ticket for the drawing every time they visit the library and check something out, such as a book, movie or music CD. The drawing will be held Jan. 5, 2009.

'Tis the season for bell ringers for Salvation Army

The Salvation Army bell-ringing campaign needs volunteer bell ringers from now through Christmas Eve. A bell-ringing shift lasts for one hour and helps many people through the donations that are collected. All but 10 percent of the funds raised stay here in Routt County to assist those in need, through LIFT-UP of Routt County. To volunteer for bell ringing, call Sheri Stetman at 846-7247.
