1:36 a.m. Steamboat Springs police responded to a report of a drunken driver in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. An officer located the driver in his or her vehicle and conducted roadside tests, which the driver passed.
2:30 a.m. Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 900 block of Weiss Drive. Officers contacted the person and determined everything was OK.
3:01 a.m. Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the first block of Maple Street. Officers located an excavating truck in a parking lot and determined there was nothing suspicious about it.
3:54 a.m. Police responded to a reported disturbance near Walton Pond Apartments, where three men were fighting at a bus stop. Officers contacted the men and separated them. None of the men wanted to pursue criminal charges, and all three were sent on their way.
7:03 a.m. Police took a report of found property for a woman's wallet in the 200 block of Anglers Drive. The wallet was returned to its owner later in the day.
7:51 a.m. Police responded to a request for an officer in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive, where someone had thrown a bus stop sign over an embankment. The responding officer found the sign and put it back in its rightful place.
8:14 a.m. Police responded to a complaint about a cat caught in a trap in the 2800 block of West End Avenue.
9:08 a.m. Police arrested a 29-year-old Steamboat Springs man at a traffic stop at Locust Court and Cherry Drive on suspicion of driving under restraint with restrictions related to alcohol, possession of an alcoholic beverage and disregarding a traffic control device.
9:54 a.m. Police responded to a request for an officer in the 2600 block of South Copper Frontage, where a business owner wanted to complain about people using his trash container.
10:18 a.m. Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a request for an officer in the 29200 block of Elkview Drive. The reporting party wanted to complain about a neighbor who had cut down his or her trees.
11:43 a.m. Police responded to a reported family disturbance in the 500 block of Tamarack Drive, where there had been a verbal argument the night before. Officers resolved the matter.
12:42 p.m. Police responded to a complaint about an animal in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive.
3:04 p.m. Police responded to an anonymous request for an officer in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue, where someone had complained there were people under a railroad bridge. Officers contacted the people under the bridge and gave them a verbal warning.
3:30 p.m. Police assisted with a request for an ambulance in Steamboat Springs for a 40-year-old man with a possible diabetic condition.
3:49 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report of a damaged message board on Colorado Highway 131 near mile marker 63.
4:53 p.m. Colorado State Parks rangers arrested a 51-year-old Oak Creek man in Junction City on suspicion of boating under the influence, boating under the influence per se, and fishing without a license.
5:14 p.m. Police assisted with a request for an ambulance in Steamboat Springs for a 4-year-old girl who had fallen down and hit her head.
5:51 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a request for an officer in the 21500 block of Third Avenue in Phippsburg, where there were people driving four-wheelers in the road. Officers gave the drivers a warning.
7:22 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a complaint about three cattle on some railroad tracks near Chuck Lewis State Wildlife Area. The responding deputy had trouble locating the livestock's owner, and notified the Union Pacific Railroad company of the problem.
8:39 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on westbound U.S. Highway 40, about six miles west of Steamboat Springs, where a car hit a deer. The driver was not injured, but the vehicle was rendered immobile, and deputies had it pulled to the side of the road.
10:55 p.m. Police responded to a complaint about noise coming from a large party in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. Officers issued a warning and asked the partygoers to break it up.
