Steamboat Village Brokers hires 2 people

— Steamboat Village Brokers is adding David Lacey and Becky Ferguson to its real estate team, the company announced in a news release. Lacey moved to the Yampa Valley in 1972 and has more than 25 years of experience in the Steamboat Springs real estate market, according to the release. Ferguson was raised in Jackson, Wyo., and came to Steamboat more than 15 years ago.

Lacey and Ferguson have served as directors on the Board of Realtors and have been involved with other local organizations, according to the release.

"We are privileged to have these two highly respected brokers join our firm," Managing Broker David Baldinger Jr. said in the release.

Motorcycle maker now licensed to sell

Insta-Gator Choppers has received the licensing necessary to become an official motorcycle manufacturer, owner Scott Singer said. The shop, in units E and F of 1880 Loggers Lane in western Steamboat, received the notice in the mail last week. Singer and his fellow builder, Paul Worster, already have designed and put together a few choppers that will be available for purchase.
