Q. When did you move to Routt County, and what brought you here?

A. Halloween 1992. Skiing and the chance to eventually buy a house and some land.

Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken recently?

A. Had kids.

Q. Describe your morning routine.

A. I don't have a routine, but I love the drive in to work from Sleeping Giant, where I live with my family.

Q. Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?

A. "The Fountainhead." It inspired me to pursue my dreams, whatever they may be.

Q. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

A. "Shut up and listen," from my dad.

Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A. An architect.

Q. If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what would you talk about?

A. Salvador Dali, Pele, Randy Pausch and Bill Gates - anything but cars.

Q. Do you collect anything?

A. Modern art; Bach, Warhol and Calder.

Q. In the Meatloaf song, "I'd do anything for love, but I won't do that," what is that?

A. Sing that song karaoke.

Q. What was your first job?

A. Maintaining clay tennis courts. There's more to it than you might think.

Q. Do you have a tattoo?

A. A personalized design of Nike, goddess of speed, on my foot.

Q. Do you have any phobias?

A. I panic when my 1-year-old panics.

Q. If you could go back in time, to what event or time period would you go?

A. Sept. 10, 2001, and warn them about 9/11. Imagine how different our lives would be.

Q. What is your favorite thing to do in Routt County?

A. Barbecues at my ranch with family and friends. Especially throwing flaming horseshoes at night.
