12:12 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a lost motorist at Lincoln Avenue and Pine Grove Road.

12:54 a.m. A disturbance was reported in the 73900 block of Routt County Road 129, where a protected party was physically assaulted. The victim declined to press charges, but the restraining order violation was referred to the District Attorney's Office.

6:48 a.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported on C.R. 15. The vehicle was towed.

7:53 a.m. Illegal dumping was reported in the 1000 block of 13th Street. Police took a report.

8:33 a.m. A welfare check was requested on horses on Colorado Highway 131. The animals were fine.

9:49 a.m. A dog at large was reported in the 400 block of Howelsen Parkway. The animal was gone when police arrived.

10:05 a.m. An injured cat was found in the 40500 block of North Star Place. The animal was taken to the vet.

10:09 a.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 4100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.

12:21 p.m. A man reported being robbed recently while staying in Yampa. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.

12:42 p.m. A 34-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, possession of an open container and careless driving after a noninjury accident on Anglers Drive.

2:20 p.m. A bear was reported along the Yampa River near Fetcher Park. The Colorado Division of Wildlife was notified.

2:43 p.m. An animal complaint was received from Colo. 131, where a horse was caught in a fence. The animal needed to be tranquilized, and additional equipment was brought in to free it.

3:28 p.m. Two horses were reported loose on Colo. 131 near Dusty Trail. They were gone when Sheriff's Office deputies arrived. Their owners were contacted.

4:49 p.m. Harassment was reported in Steamboat Springs, where a man was receiving calls from his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend. Police took a report.

5:26 p.m. A boy reportedly was crying while riding his bicycle near Mount Werner Road and U.S. Highway 40. Police were unable to locate him.

5:28 p.m. A drunken driver was reported in the 1600 block of Pine Grove Road. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

5:28 p.m. A dog at large was reported near Maple and Second streets. The animal was gone when police arrived.

6:03 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Walton Creek Road and Village Drive. Police took a report.

7:34 p.m. A noise complaint was received from Fish Creek Falls Road and Alpine Drive.

8:07 p.m. Two dogs at large were reported near mile marker 61 on Colo. 131.

9:05 p.m. A parent requested a welfare check on his or her child in Oak Creek. The matter is part of an ongoing custody dispute.

9:31 p.m. An ambulance was requested in Clark, where a 22-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the leg while cleaning a handgun. He was transported to the hospital.

9:53 p.m. A barking dog complaint was received from the 27400 block of Brandon Circle. The owners were contacted.

10:10 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 100 block of East Main Street in Oak Creek. Everything was fine.

10:47 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 500 block of Ore House Plaza. Everything was quiet when police arrived.

10:56 p.m. A disturbance was reported in the 58100 block of C.R. 62 near Clark, where a mother and daughter were engaged in a physical and verbal argument. Sheriff's Office deputies contacted all parties involved.

11:31 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 300 block of Little Moon Trail. Police gave a warning.
