Two injured in U.S. 40 rollover
Pickup overturned on highway east of Steamboat Springs

Steamboat Springs A one-vehicle rollover accident was reported at 6 p.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 40 between Colorado Highway 131 and Rabbit Ears Pass. Three occupants reportedly were traveling in a pickup, pulling a trailer with a backhoe, when the vehicle went off the road and overturned. According to dispatches from Routt County Communications, one victim suffered head injuries, and another had a neck injury. The third occupant was dazed but otherwise unharmed. The two injured occupants were transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center for treatment.
