Clay Artisans seeking nonprofit for Soup Bowl
Steamboat Clay Artisans' Soup Bowl Supper Committee is seeking a nonprofit organization to be the beneficiary of its 2008 fundraiser.
For the past six years, members of the Steamboat Clay Artisans have created handmade, one-of-a-kind ceramic bowls that are given away to event attendees, who in turn get to fill the bowl with soups, breads and desserts donated by local restaurants and bakeries. Other locally made ceramic items are auctioned during the fundraiser, which is expected to net at least $5,000 for the beneficiary.
To be considered as this year's beneficiary, submit a letter of interest no later than May 23 to SCA, P.O. Box 882111, Steamboat Springs, CO 80488, or elstonjody@yahoo.com, Attn: Soup Bowl Supper Committee. The selection of this year's beneficiary will be made and announced no later than May 25. Call Jody Elston at 736-2629.
