12:29 a.m. A noise complaint was received from Walton Creek Road and AprÃs Ski Way. Everything was quiet when police arrived.

1:25 a.m. Theft was reported in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue, where an intoxicated woman was unable to pay her taxi fare. The woman was taken to detox.

7:02 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Police took a report.

7:33 a.m. A llama was reported on the side of the road near Colorado Highway 131 and Routt County Road 14. The owner was notified.

8:05 a.m. Vandalism was reported on the bike path near Walton Creek Road, where graffiti had been spray-painted in a tunnel. Police took a report.

8:25 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 144 on U.S. Highway 40, where a stalled semi was forced to back down the pass.

9:03 a.m. Two dogs at large were reported in the 27500 block of Silver Spur Road. The animals were picked up and taken to the shelter.

9:48 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1800 block of Medicine Springs Drive. Everything was fine.

11:14 a.m. A dog at large was reported on C.R. 37. The animal was returned to its owner.

11:49 a.m. A vehicle complaint was received from Colo. 131 between Yampa and Phippsburg, where a truck headed southbound with no license plates was spilling rocks onto the road. Sheriff's Office deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

12:05 p.m. An illegally parked vehicle was towed from the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.

1:50 p.m. A Steamboat Springs woman was arrested on a probation violation in the 1900 block of Shield Drive.

2:46 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Everything was fine.

3:37 p.m. A burglary was reported in the 3000 block of Temple Knolls, where firearms and ski equipment were missing from a residence. Police are investigating.

4:24 p.m. A calf out of its pasture was reported near mile marker 1 on C.R. 14. The owner was notified.

4:32 p.m. Threats were reported in the 41800 block of C.R. 44C, where an employee became aggressive after he was terminated. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.

4:58 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported near mile marker 1 on C.R. 1.

5:39 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from mile marker 58 on Colo. 131, where a car was speeding and passing unsafely. Sheriff's Office deputies took a report.

6:53 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs, where a man and woman got into a verbal argument. The woman was taken to detox.

9:45 p.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported near mile marker 144 on U.S. 40, where a semi went off the road. The vehicle was towed.

I'm back! I see that not much happened on this day in town. A couple of detox calls and a llama on the side of the road, nothing too out of the ordinary for Steamboat. Now if the llama had been chased by a dog then the llama would have been ok, and the dogs would have been arrested!
