1:42 a.m. A disturbance was reported in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue, where there allegedly was almost a bar fight. Everyone was gone when police arrived.
7:22 a.m. A noise complaint was received from the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road, where people had been setting off fireworks at 3 a.m. Police took a report.
8:53 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1300 block of Overlook Drive. Everything was fine.
9:37 a.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs, where a man and a woman got into a physical altercation. The man sustained a split lip and claw marks from the woman's fingernails, police said. The woman was not injured and was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief and third-degree assault.
10:39 a.m. A dog at large was reported at Eighth and Pine streets. Police were unable to locate the animal.
11:31 a.m. A carbon monoxide alarm went off in the 1900 block of Christie Drive. Everything was fine.
1:38 p.m. A rusty cash register drawer was found near Mount Werner Road, with some coins and receipts still in it. Police are investigating whether the drawer is connected to any old burglaries.
2:04 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Everything was fine.
3:27 p.m. Theft of a lockbox and keys was reported in the 400 block of Anglers Drive. Police took a report.
4:15 p.m. A one-vehicle accident was reported on Hillside Drive, where a car struck a fire hydrant. Police took a report.
5:58 p.m. Check fraud was reported in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive, where a $600 check failed to clear. Police took a report.
7:07 p.m. A possibly suicidal woman was reported in Steamboat Springs. Everything was fine.
8:15 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 700 block of Critter Court. Everything was fine.
8:35 p.m. A Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence during a traffic stop on Trafalgar Drive.
11:03 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. Police gave a warning.
