Routt County to receive emergency service funds
The Northern Rockies Jurisdiction will receive $27,000 in federal grant funds to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in Routt, Eagle, Pitkin, Summit, Grand and Jackson counties. A national board chaired by the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency selected the jurisdiction.
The local board is seeking applications from agencies that are private, voluntary nonprofit organizations or units of government, have an accounting system, practice nondiscrimination and have demonstrated the capability to deliver emergency food and/or shelter programs. Private voluntary organizations must have a voluntary board.
To request an application, call Pam Graham at 870-8804. Applications must be received by April 18.
