3:11 a.m. A dirt biker reportedly slid on his bike in the 25000 block of Routt County Road 14. The biker suffered minor road rash to his face.
4:25 a.m. A lost hunter was reported in the 24000 block of C.R. 11 in Yampa. Routt County Search and Rescue Incident Commander Jim Linville said the hunter became disoriented Tuesday night but was able to find his way back once the sun came up Wednesday. The hunter was fine.
5:01 a.m. Two bears ripped a door off a shed freezer in the 1800 block of Huckleberry Lane. The incident was referred to the Colorado Division of Wildlife.
5:46 a.m. A 77-year-old woman was found dead at her home east of Hayden. Police said the woman died of natural causes.
7:52 a.m. About $10,000 worth of construction equipment was stolen from a locked construction trailer in the 1600 block of Gray Stone Drive. Police Capt. Joel Rae said around 25 different tools including power tools and a table saw were taken from the trailer. The locks on the trailer apparently were broken and have not been found. The incident is under investigation.
8:10 a.m. A food truck making a delivery reportedly was blocking the alley between Seventh and Eighth streets.
9:41 a.m. A man in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive complained about a truck that had been idling for 15 minutes.
10:59 a.m. A resident in the 600 block of Tamarack Drive was cited for not having a wildlife-proof trash container.
12:20 p.m. A woman in the 600 block of Sandhill Circle was concerned about a dog on a deck that "looked like it wanted to jump."
1:08 p.m. A 40-year-old man was taken to the hospital from the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue because he was suffering from an unknown medical problem.
2 p.m. A student lost a cell phone in the first block of Maple Street.
2:20 p.m. A 31-year-old man registered as a sex offender at the police department.
3:28 p.m. Two bicycles were turned in to the police department.
3:41 p.m. A man tied a loose dog to a tree in the 700 block of Oak Street. The dog was later taken to the shelter.
3:50 p.m. A woman reportedly was asking for directions at a business in the 1900 block of Pine Grove Road. Business employees thought the woman might have been intoxicated. Police said the woman was fine.
4:29 p.m. Someone reportedly stole jewelry from a ranch in the 73000 block of C.R. 129. A report was taken.
5:28 p.m. A skateboarder reportedly was riding down the center of Clubhouse Drive. The skater was gone when officers arrived.
6:57 p.m. A structure fire was reported in the 30000 block of Colorado Highway 131. Firefighters said a rancher was burning some grass near his barn, and that everything was fine.
7:20 p.m. A man near AprÃs Ski Way and Mount Werner Circle reported hearing construction noise after 7 p.m.
8:18 p.m. A car struck a deer on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 124.
10:34 p.m. Officers assisted a driver who ran out of gas on Lincoln Avenue.
