Yampa Valley Team seeks ALS event volunteers

The Yampa Valley Team is seeking volunteers to join the "Walk to D'feet ALS" on Saturday, Sept. 29, in Denver. ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Register on the Web at: www.alsaco.org. Dance Theatre accepting scholarship applications

The Steamboat Dance Theatre is accepting applications for Dance Scholarships for Fall Dance. Anyone with financial need, child through adult, is welcome to apply for tuition assistance to study dance. Mainstreet Steamboat offers mystery shopping

The Economic Restructuring Committee of Mainstreet Steamboat Springs is offering its members a free mystery shopping service designed to provide an outsider's impression of their business. The goal is to improve customer service and stay competitive. The Economic Restructuring Committee is looking for a few members to help design the program as well as members who are interested in having their businesses shopped.

All participants will be offered a pre-meeting visit to personalize the shop to their business, a written report and a one-on-one recap of the customer experience, including perceptions of the exterior and interior of the business.
