Mainstreet Steamboat Springs seeks volunteers Mainstreet Steamboat Springs is recruiting interested volunteers to assist with its programs. Mainstreet is a comprehensive program created by the National Trust for Historic Preservation to revive and strengthen the historic cores of communities across the nation. More than 2,000 communities are using the Mainstreet Four-Point Approach, which addresses design elements within the district, promotion of events and image, economic restructuring to gauge and strengthen economic health and organization of the entities within the district as a unified voice.
