Friday, Oct. 19
7:48 a.m. Someone reportedly drove stakes through a truck's tires and splashed paint on the truck in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive. A report was taken.
9:08 p.m. The paint that was splashed on the truck splattered onto another car in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive. The paint washed off the car.
9:42 a.m. Officers mediated a family argument in the 1200 block of Sparta Plaza.
12:26 p.m. A truck was parked over several parking spaces in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The truck's owner moved the vehicle.
2:04 p.m. A driver hit a mailbox in the 2300 block of Lincoln Avenue. No injuries were reported. The driver was cited for the accident.
2:17 p.m. A business owner was concerned she had been given a counterfeit $100 bill. The bill was legitimate.
3:02 p.m. A concrete truck that was pouring a home's foundation was blocking part of Burgess Creek Road.
3:14 p.m. A civil situation regarding money was reported at the police department.
3:48 p.m. An accident was reported in the 25000 block of Routt County Road 55 in Hayden.
4:17 p.m. A 26-year-old Craig man went to the Steamboat Springs Police Department to see if there was a warrant for his arrest. There was, and the man was arrested for failing to appear in court.
4:21 p.m. An argument was reported in the 1000 block of 13th Street. The complaint was unfounded.
4:53 p.m. Officers mediated a juvenile situation in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.
5:54 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported near Fifth and Oak streets.
6:12 p.m. A burglary was reported in the 200 block of Old Fish Creek Falls Road.
7:26 p.m. A 37-year-old woman was arrested on West Acres Drive on suspicion of driving under revocation and following too closely after the woman hit a car in front of her. No injuries were reported.
8:31 p.m. A small Dumpster fire was reported on Park Avenue. The report was unfounded.
10:54 p.m. A 24-year-old Thornton man was arrested on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 118 on suspicion of driving under revocation and speeding.
