12:39 a.m. Residents playing loud music were given a warning to be quiet in the 500 block of Ore House Plaza.
2:31 a.m. Officers checked on an open airport hangar in the 3400 block of Airport Circle. Everything was fine.
3:09 a.m. Officers told a man sleeping at a business in the 1000 block of 13th Street to move along.
6:34 am. Two Routt County Search and Rescue members assisted Vail Mountain Rescue in locating a missing hiker in the Holy Cross Wilderness Area. The 23-year-old Missouri hiker had become separated from his brother at about 13,000 feet, and was found suffering from frostbite and hypothermia.
12:08 p.m. An employee reportedly stole $200 from a business in the 2100 block of Mount Werner Road. The incident is under investigation.
1:16 p.m. A 25-year-old Steamboat Springs woman was arrested on suspicion of failing to appear in court.
2:12 p.m. A Colorado State Patrol trooper cited a driver for failing to yield after the driver ran into a logging truck on Routt County Road 16. No injuries were reported.
3:23 p.m. Someone found a handgun in a rental room in the 2700 block of Village Drive. The gun was turned in to the police department.
4:05 p.m. A red and black Schwinn bicycle was stolen in the 3100 block of Elk River Road.
4:27 p.m. A young child reportedly had been left alone in a car for an hour in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The car and the child were gone when officers arrived.
5:42 p.m. Officers mediated an argument between women in the 2300 block of Abbey Court.
7:20 p.m. Two cats were taken to the shelter.
9:59 p.m. A drunken man reportedly was being rude at a bar in the 3100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
