1:12 a.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs. The incident is under investigation.

2:57 a.m. A man was arrested for domestic violence in Steamboat Springs.

8:47 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 36800 block of Tree Haus Drive. Everything was fine.

9:14 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 36800 block of Tree Haus Drive. Everything was fine.

9:38 a.m. A gas leak was reported in the 16000 block of Colorado Highway 131 in Yampa.

11:14 a.m. A man was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs in Curve Plaza.

12:02 p.m. Lost property was reported at the Steamboat Springs Police Department.

1:27 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Eaglepointe Court.

1:41 p.m. An illegally parked vehicle was towed from the 1300 block of Athens Plaza.

2:46 p.m. An animal complaint was received from Willow Creek Road, where a dog was running loose. A neighbor held the animal until it could be returned to its owner.

3:47 p.m. Police received an unfounded report of threats made in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

4:03 p.m. Police were called to a family disturbance in Alpenglow Way. No charges were filed, but a juvenile was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

4:40 p.m. A chimney fire was reported in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. There was no major damage and no injuries.

4:48 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in Hayden.

7:43 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 23800 block of Routt County Road 16 in Stagecoach. The parties were gone before Sheriff's Office deputies arrived.

8:17 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs. The report was unfounded.

9:54 p.m. Police responded to a domestic violence call in Steamboat Springs. The matter was cleared as a verbal-only incident.

10:49 p.m. Police received a report of underage drinking at an establishment on Ski Time Square Drive. The parties were of legal drinking age.

Sara is a fine young woman. It was all a setup.

I hope Sara proves she's smart as the sheriff and walks on the charges but I would have preferred her to be smarter then the sheriff and not have been accused.

With this experience under her belt maybe she could run for sheriff? What ever happened to that recall?
