1:13 a.m. Police were called to perform a welfare check on an individual in Steamboat Springs whose friend was concerned about text messages she had received from him. Police couldn't locate the man.
1:31 a.m. The Routt County Sheriff's Office received a report of an overdue person in the wilderness near Rabbit Ears Pass. The caller was advised about how to file a missing persons report in the county where the people were last seen.
3:47 a.m. Two horses at large were reported near mile marker 9 on Routt County Road 14.
8:03 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the 57700 block of Saturn Court in Clark, where a neighbor had damaged a tree. A report was taken.
8:35 a.m. Horses were reported on the road near Colorado Highway 131 and C.R. 35A. The horses were corralled.
8:38 a.m. An animal complaint was received in Oak Creek, and a dog was taken into custody.
8:42 a.m. Sheriff's Office deputies were called to mile marker 58 of Colo. 131, where a man was attempting to get a woman out of the road. The incident was resolved.
9:39 a.m. Police were called to the 400 block of Tamarack Drive to investigate a suspicious incident. A man had received a letter in the mail saying he had won $5,000, and he believed it was fraudulent.
10:23 a.m. An illegally parked vehicle was towed from the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.
10:51 a.m. Steamboat Springs police assisted the Craig Police Department by checking a residence on Shadow Run Court for a runaway juvenile. Police were unable to locate the person.
10:55 a.m. A bicycle found on Anglers Drive was turned in to the police department for safekeeping.
11:40 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
12:09 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported at Fish Creek Falls Road and Steamboat Boulevard, where a parked vehicle sustained damage at an unknown time. A report was filed.
12:20 p.m. A carbon monoxide alarm went off in the 36800 block of Tree Haus Drive. Everything was fine.
1:11 p.m. An injured dog, apparently hit by a vehicle, was reported in the road in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The animal was taken to a veterinarian.
2:45 p.m. An intrusion alarm went off in the 2100 block of Resort Drive, where a door had been improperly secured. Employees corrected the situation.
3:55 p.m. Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle on Medicine Springs Drive, where individuals were selling stereo equipment out of their vehicle. The parties were contacted and informed they cannot make sales without a sales tax license.
4:13 p.m. Sheep were reported on the highway near mile marker 53 on Colo. 131. A possible owner was contacted, and the road was cleared.
4:21 p.m. Police received a complaint about an abandoned vehicle parked on private property on Riverside Drive.
5:14 p.m. A vehicle hit an elk on C.R. 41A north of C.R. 35.
5:46 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Eighth and Oak streets. A citation was issued for failing to yield the right of way at an intersection.
8:33 p.m. An injured raccoon was reported at U.S. Highway 40 and C.R. 129. Police were unable to locate the animal.
11:24 p.m. Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist on U.S. Highway 40 in Milner.
