Yampavalley.info seeking Web site volunteers

Yampavalley.info needs volunteers to oversee a major section of the Web site. Anyone who loves the Web and has local knowledge could become a manager of the site's Natural Resources, Environment Center or Recreation Center. Managers maintain links, add new information, answer online questions and serve as an expert resource for information about the community.

Volunteers needed for Lions Club tree sale

The Steamboat Lions Club needs volunteers for its Christmas tree sale. Volunteers are needed from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends, starting Monday. Call Del at 879-5853.

Pink scarves available

at Epilogue Book Co.

Pink scarves made by the "Pink Scarf Brigade" are on sale at Epilogue Book Co. All proceeds from sales of the volunteer-made scarves go to local women suffering from breast cancer. Sales will continue through the holidays.

YVMC needs volunteers for health resource center

Yampa Valley Medical Center is seeking volunteers for its Community Health Resource Center. The free lending library is available to physicians, hospital employees and community members and provides resources on a variety of medical topics.

Phippsburg Rummage Shop holds Christmas sale

The Phippsburg Rummage Shop's Christmas sale started Nov. 8 and runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Thursday until Dec. 20. The sale includes dishes, collectibles, gift items, toys, decorations and Christmas clothes.

The Rummage Shop is operated by the Phippsburg Community Club, a nonprofit organization.
