what is the law on bringing CONTRABAND to an inmate in jail???? how does the sheriff wall handle this situation when an employee is involved???? would he press charges or give the employee a pass??????

He'd probably say what the heck and realize he couldn't do anything because he isn't POST certified.

Why Question-here's a niblet. DId anyone in the breeze hear of a few RCSO Dep (in the jail) who were terminated lately? Ask why? Poor little prisoner getting his behind whallopped?

whyquestion: where's the police breif on this? Was an officer arrested or something? I'm really lost here...

Call the RCSO and inquire as to what happened to a criminal who was ... Let's just say that a few deputies are no longer employed. Guess Wall is letting the civil liberties mantra wane, just like his non-POST certified stance on when he'll get certified. Oh yeah, that's right. According to Wall, he'll get that certification when the time is right.

More people need to question what's going on over at the RCSO.

Cord: No police brief needed - The action was filed through the RCSO Deputies, not the SSPD. How can anyone believe that there would be some sort of legal ramifications at the RCSO when Wall is more interested in civil liberties.

Anybody say RECALL yet? I have the paperwork, and am getting the ball rolling.

Scott, is there a story here, or is this idle gossip?

Some have claimed that Bustos has done a good job thus far. But with the termination of some deputies, who knows what type of leader he'd make.

Garrett Wiggins remains a qualified law enforcement officer, who is certified and amply qualified to take the helm. He's fair and honest and could bring this county back to a respectable level with neighboring counties. Those who have worked with him have respect for him.

The current administration has dirty laundry which flaps and foils the good county of Routt.

an end note: If Wiggins did not want to become sheriff because of his efforts with GRAMNET, some could entertain the notion of Ray Birch.

So let's see if Dundalk is all talk. Start the recall, you have been claiming for months now that you were going to so do it.

Fish- It had to wait for 6 months from his swear-in date or election date, I believe. I've spoken to dundalk personally, and yes, the recall ball is rolling.

While im not a gary wall fan, I am curious as to the grounds for this recall. I dont think the fact that he has not become certified yet is grounds, as he is within the law regarding the time frame allowed. If he has done something wrong it sure has been kept quiet. Any one care to enlighten me?

Easy research from the numerous newspaper interviews which wall has given, that with his less than candor performance, the refusal to assist our neighboring county with GRAMNET, the recent turmoils from within the jail...where does one begin?

kingsride 7 years, 3 months ago

the facts ma'am just the facts. Generalizations that he isnt doing a good job wont get him recalled. What has led to the turmoil..his policies? Something he has done? His less than candor performance was before the election and he still conned enough people to get elected. The fact that he was not liked or respected by law enforcement was not enough to keep him from being elected. It sure wont get him recalled.

A wise man once said..."Never say never". I am content knowing he did not con me.

Ok let me try this from a different angle. I do not like Gary Wall. I do not trust Gary Wall. I did not vote for Gary Wall. I disagree with his decision to pull Routt County from Gramnet. You are preaching to the choir, so tell me the facts that you will use to convince those who do not have a strong opinion one way or the other. Those not in the choir. Those are the people you will need to convince to accomplish a recall.

Sure, but not on this forum as some can't play nice. I have seen what they do to people they don't like or agree with - call the police chief and complain, get too personal and slander people by calling them homophobic.

You want to talk to me directly? You know how to contact me.
