8:30 a.m. Police responded to a two-vehicle, noninjury accident in the 300 block of Fourth Street. A report was taken.

8:42 a.m. A woman reported a dog was digging in the trash in the first block of Spruce Street. The owner of the dog was given a verbal warning.

9:09 a.m. Police assisted social workers with a child abuse investigation.

10:52 a.m. A man reported seeing a man beating the lock off a trailer with a sledgehammer in a parking lot in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police contacted the man and determined it belonged to him, and he had lost the key.

3:05 p.m. A man reported he hired someone to do repairs on his townhome, and instead of doing repairs, the man started living at the townhome. The suspect also drank a lot of wine from the man's wine collection.

3:27 p.m. A man reported seeing a drunken man riding a bicycle in the 600 block of Snapdragon Way. The man was taken to the hospital. The man later escaped from the hospital and was found passed out near the base of the Steamboat Ski Area. The man was taken back to the hospital.

3:33 p.m. Police investigated a report of a restraining order violation at Steamboat Springs High School.

4:55 p.m. A woman reported a man was approaching vehicles and trying to get in them at a parking lot in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police were unable to locate the man.

5:03 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a deer on Routt County Road 27. When responding to the call firefighters saw the vehicle driving toward Hayden with its windshield busted out. The driver was not injured.

6:46 p.m. Police responded to a two-vehicle, noninjury accident in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

7:52 p.m. A man reported a loose dog in the 200 block of Anglers Drive. The dog could not be caught because it was too fast.

8:01 p.m. Police arrested two men on outstanding warrants in the 1900 block of Steamboat Boulevard.

8:19 p.m. A woman reported receiving a call from someone impersonating a person working for Social Security. The impersonator was trying to get financial information. Police said there have been similar reports.

9:10 p.m. A person on Hilltop Parkway reported being harassed by someone. A report was taken.

10:29 p.m. A man reported a two-vehicle, noninjury accident in the 1700 block of Central Park Drive.

11:06 p.m. A person reported loud music coming from a condo in the 400 block of Ore House Plaza.
