1:07 a.m. A person reported a couple had been yelling at each other for about 10 minutes. Police said no laws were being broken.
1:39 a.m. A person reported a suspicious person on Copper Ridge Circle. Police found the person, and everything was fine.
2:12 a.m. A person reported a suspicious person behind a business in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was taken to detox.
4:22 a.m. A man complained of a barking dog on Anthony Circle.
8:05 a.m. A woman complained of a loose dog in the 1300 block of Conestoga Circle. The dog was taken to the shelter.
10:05 a.m. Police pulled over a vehicle and arrested a man on an outstanding warrant.
12:07 p.m. Police did a monthly verification of the residency of registered sex offenders.
1:47 p.m. A woman at a business in the 3000 block of South Lincoln Avenue reported a woman had thrown papers and hit her in the face.
3:08 p.m. A person at Steamboat Springs High School reported losing a cell phone. A report was taken.
3:16 p.m. A man reported an older golden Labrador was loose in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The dog was gone when police arrived.
3:25 p.m. A woman reported a boy made an obscene gesture after she told him and two other teens with skateboards to go to the skatepark. The teens were gone when police arrived.
5:01 p.m. A woman reported having a check stolen and someone using it for a $400 purchase in California. The woman suspected it was her ex-husband. A report was taken.
11:52 p.m. A man reported people were yelling and screaming in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. Police said it was an argument, and no laws were being violated.

Ummm...if a man reported yelling and screaming in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle, and the report was at 11:52pm, wouldn't that be breaking a law? It's a noise complaint at the very least and deserves a warning or a ticket, at the very least.
