Saturday, May 19

6:03 a.m. An individual was arrested for an outstanding warrant on the 2800 block of Alpenglow Way.

9:05 a.m. An individual was arrested for two outstanding warrants on the 900 block of Weiss Drive.

9:29 a.m. An act of domestic violence was reported. There is an ongoing investigation on the matter, but no one has been arrested yet.

9:38 a.m. Harassing phone calls were reported between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend, who reportedly were not dealing well with each other on the phone. Officers mediated the situation.

9:58 a.m. A deputy assisted a motorist who was stopped on the side of the road by mile marker 122 on U.S. Highway 40.

11:12 a.m. A burglar alarm reportedly was set off at a house under construction on the 3000 block of Heavenly View. The folks working on the house set it off by accident.

1:00 p.m. A drunk driver was reported westbound Highway 40. The charge was unfounded, and the driver was deemed to be just a poor driver.

1:43 p.m. A vehicle complaint was reported on the 1900 block of Bridge Lane. People were concerned about some construction equipment being too close to the bike path, but everything was OK.

2:14 p.m. A theft of prescription drugs from an individual's car was reported on the 2100 block of Downhill Drive. There is no suspect information.

3:40 p.m. Harassment was reported on the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza, and police detectives are working on the case.

4:29 p.m. An animal complaint was reported between Eight and Ninth and Oak Streets. The party thought the dog was locked up in a car and were concerned. Officers found no dog on the scene.

5:07 p.m. Some people found items missing from an unlocked car on the 800 block of Broad Street.

5:20 p.m. A burglary was reported on the 2100 block of Downhill Drive. Somebody stole some change and other items from a business.

5:42 p.m. A vehicle complaint was reported on the corner of Sleepy Bear and Eastbound U.S. Highway 40. Someone was concerned about a yellow Dodge truck that was driving poorly. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

5:47 p.m. A dog at large on the 800 block of Oak Street was taken to the animal shelter.

6:11 p.m. A burglar alarm was set off on the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was secure when officers arrived.

6:17 p.m. An officer was wanted on the 1800 block of Ski Time Square. A man was arrested for a restraining order violation.

7:27 p.m. An animal complaint was reported on the 600 block of Sandhill Court. Officers found a dog at large and took it to the animal shelter.

8:12 p.m. A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was reported on the corner of Apres Ski Way and Longthong Road.

8:28 p.m. A false burglar alarm was reported on the 35400 block of Priest Creek Road.

9:09 p.m. An officer was requested on the 2500 block of Copper Ridge Road. The business owner was having difficulties with his alarms and wanted an officer to make sure everything was secure.

9:18 p.m. A security guard reported an open door at a business on the 1800 block of Ski Time Square. Everything was OK.

10:21 p.m. An unfounded trash complaint was reported on the 300 block of Third Street.

10:39 p.m. A traffic stop on the corner of Lincoln and 10th Streets resulted in citations for a minor in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

10:39 p.m. An intoxicated male was given a courtesy ride home from

the corner of Third and Lincoln Streets.

11:32 p.m. A driver was found on the corner of Third and Lincoln Streets driving under a revoked driver's license.

11:50 p.m. A noise complaint was reported on the 700 block of Yampa Street. A verbal warning was given.

Been: Are you aware that not all police/law enforcement items are printed in the "Record"? Only a handful make it into the "Record". Such activities often times leads the general public to the conclusion that our hard working officers don't do much, when its the exact opposite.

The accident on Rabbit Ears was due to speed. No one was seriously injured.
