7:12 a.m. An elk was put down after a car hit it near Colorado Highway 131 and Routt County Road 35.
8:55 a.m. Someone lost an identification card in Steamboat.
9:16 a.m. A 26-year-old Hayden man was arrested for being a fugitive of justice.
12:06 p.m. A female bear was wandering around a garage and yard in the 1000 block of Steamboat Boulevard.
2:13 p.m. A woman reportedly saw a bear cub in a tree in the 1000 block of Steamboat Boulevard.
3:34 p.m. Two skateboarders reportedly were skating on tables in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.
3:36 p.m. Someone gave an ophthalmologist a false name after receiving medical services in the 500 block of Anglers Drive. The incident is under investigation.
4:43 p.m. A woman's $7,000 wedding ring reportedly was stolen while she was at the hospital.
5:35 p.m. Someone knocked a hole in a fence in the 400 block of 12th Street.
6 p.m. A 20-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested in Oak Creek on suspicion of driving under restraint and driving with obstructed vision.
6 p.m. A woman saw someone drive into oncoming traffic in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
6:03 p.m. A man reportedly saw "a bunch of kids smoking pot," shooting a BB gun into the woods and throwing a glass bottle down a hill in the 2700 block of Laurel Lane. Officers contacted the group and issued the teens minor-in-possession citations.
7:23 p.m. Deputies mediated an argument between a landlord and his tenant in the 29000 block of River Drive in Clark.
9:56 p.m. A truck hit and killed a deer on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 144. Crews put sand on the highway to absorb water and antifreeze the truck leaked as a result of the accident. No human injuries were reported.
10:38 p.m. A woman reported hearing loud music in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza.
